Meet Chris Butler, CPT


Let me briefly introduce you to my trainer, Chris Butler, CPT, before he begins helping us out here. At least once a month Chris will provide fitness-relevant information and tips for us.

He will cover, among other things:

  • Working out at various levels of fitness
  • Setting realstic expectations
  • Exercising safely
  • Working out with injuries
  • Working out with health conditions
  • Nutrition as it relates to working out

Chris has a great background in athletics and fitness training. He began his journey as a high school and college football player in different positions. He later transitioned into formal fitness training. Before that transition, he spent several years in various management positions with local and national corporations. As a result, his people and time management skills, in addition to his fitness and athletic skills, are superb.

He is currently a Certified Personal Trainer with Planet Fitness in Arizona. And I am excited to report that he is seeking to become qualified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine in advanced personal training techniques and fitness nutrition. Chris also provides personal training to private clients and is working on going in that direction exclusively.
