Workout Video 1 from Chris Butler: HIIT Cardio Workout

Workout Video 1 Chris B

Chris' Workout Video 1

Hey, all! Chris is doing an audio explanation for us of what he’s doing in this workout and sent me the text in the meantime. You can read it below, and when he gets the audio to me, I’ll get that up for you so that you can read or listen, whichever you prefer – or both!

This one cracks me up because he’s got the speed at 2x. I haven’t asked him, but I suspect he may have intended to show the intensity necessary for a successful HIIT workout. I think you’ll enjoy it and will learn something from it.

HIIT Cardio Workout

My name is Chris Butler. I’m a contributor to Aileen’s Fitness With Attitude blog. I just wanted to talk about this first video post which is me doing a HIIT cardio workout outside, outdoors at the park.

I focused on my core. Everything we did, we did in sessions of 1 minute. We did about 6 different exercises, and everything we did was for about 1 minute each.

You know, a lot of people want to go to the gym, always want to go to a nice studio to work out in. But we’ve got to take advantage of our great outdoors right where we are. Luckily, I live in Arizona, so I’m able to go outside year-round to work out.

You know, I’ve been meaning to go outside more often and work out outside. Run, HIIT cardio, get some resistance bands. With that workout being said, it was early in the morning. I just went out, got a 2-mile run in, and then put myself through a HIIT cardio workout.

HIIT cardio’s really important to do 2 or 3 times a week. It shocks the body. It’s great for overall fitness and overall body conditioning.

If you have any questions, leave them in a comment below, and I’ll get back to you as quickly as I can. Thanks for listening and watching, and I hope you all have a great day.

Thank you so much for the feedback and advice VickyBig. I truly do appreciate your taking the time to contact me, but I confess that I’m confused. Can you point out to me what you believe is the duplicate content, because I’m not seeing what you mean. Thanks again.

I’m really impressed along with your writing abilities as neatly as with the structure for your blog.
Is this a paid topic or did you modify it your self?
Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it is uncommon to peer a nice
    blog like this one nowadays..

Hello, Kerrie, and thanks so much for your comment, kind words and questions! Truly appreciated

Including the particular WP theme I use, I learned the structure I use for the blog by a couple of experienced blog writers in whom I have great confidence. However, the writing of the posts I author, the choice of topics and the structure within each post is all mine.

I don’t use anything paid. Rather, I write my blogs myself based on research of a topic I think will be of interest to people, usually using ideas and material from 3-5 sources – rewritten, of course!. Both from family (tons of English teachers!), education, and work, I come from a very formal writing background which is dramatically different from writing for blogs. However, even in blog writing, I am a fanatic about no extra words where possible, shorter sentences than we typically write, and making meaning as clear, concise and pithy as I am able.

I have learned about blog writing from different sources and use the Yoast plug-in for readability and SEO tips. As a result, I end up editing and reediting a great deal! I may very well take longer in my writing than some people as a result.

My contributor and fitness trainer, Chris, also does his own writing. However, we have agreed that I may edit for grammar, usage, punctuation, active vs. passive voive and typical blog readability criteria (mostly active voice, short sentences and paragraphs), so will sometimes break his more complex sentences into pieces and alwo break up longer paragraphs into shorter ones. I rarely have to do much, if anything, in the grammar, punctuation, usage area, and I always aim to keep his “voice”. I have been very pleased with the quality of his writing which has already improved after just three written posts – he had a good education!

So, thanks again so very much! And I hope you’ll come back frequently, and perhaps share it with friends and colleagues who may have an interest in health and fitness.

      Aileen Lee
